MKM Property Maintenance is a small, owner-run business based in Doreen, looking after properties across Melbourne's north, east and west.
We're not the cheapest option, and we don't try to be. We turn up when we say we will, do the job properly, and leave the place tidier than we found it.

Turf, landscaping and irrigation installs come with three complimentary review visits across the first year, so we can check everything's settling in as it should.
The guarantee covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover living plants or turf, as their health depends on weather and watering after handover. We'll give you clear care instructions to help them thrive.

A Melbourne garden through the year
Four seasons in one day is a local joke, but our gardens do follow a yearly rhythm. Here's what we focus on each season.
Spring
September to November
- Growth takes off, so lawns may need mowing weekly
- Weeds get going in beds and paths
- A good time to lay turf and install irrigation before summer
Summer
December to February
- Mow a little higher to protect lawns in the heat
- Water deeply and less often, and check irrigation is working
- Keep gutters clear of dry leaves in fire season
Autumn
March to May
- Leaf fall, so gutters need clearing before winter rain
- Hedge trimming and garden tidy-ups
- A second good window for new turf
Winter
June to August
- Growth slows, so mowing drops back
- Pressure wash slippery, mossy paths and driveways
- Pruning and drainage checks
